Hey, I’m Ilaria, an Italian who’s been soaking in the UK sun (sort of!) for 22 years. These days, you’ll find me living in the north and loving every minute of it, especially because I’m so close to those glorious mountains.The past few years, during and after coping with a narcisistic relationship, I reconnected to my passion for hiking. There’s something magical about immersing myself in the great outdoors – it’s where I feel the most connected, the most free and so connected within myself. It really helped with my healing and it continues to do so and gives me so much every time I hike.Besides my love affair with the mountains, I’ve got another passion: photography. I’ve been a pro photographer, mostly weddings, for 10 years, which has been an amazing adventure in itself and had me capturing love across the UK and Europe, particularly Italy and France. There’s just something special about freezing those moments in time.But there’s more to my story – I’m super into psychology and understanding human behavior. I’m a Qualified trauma coach, using hiking and nature to help people heal and empower themselves.
